Listening to Stones with Phyllis Kasper Sunday, October 2nd., 10 AM to 4 PM at a retreat center 15 minutes north of Green Bay. Listening to Stones connects with the profound personal messages that nature has for all of us. Traditional use of protective medicines, such as sage and tobacco, help create a sacred space in which to deepen that        connection through mindfulness in nature. These are Wisconsin Woodlands Indians (Ojibwe) teachings combined with mindfulness writing exercises. Listening to  Stones with Phyllis Kasper was held Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 from 10 AM to 4 PM at a   retreat center 15 minutes north of Green Bay. Listening to Stones connects with  the profound personal messages that nature has for all of us. Traditional use  of protective medicines, such as sage and tobacco, help create a sacred space  in which to deepen that connection through mindfulness in nature. Dr. Kasper has been a member of the Wisconsin Psychological  Association for many years. Most  recently, she presented Listening to Stones as an experiential  session at the August 18-19 retreat entitled Self-Care via Mindful  Awareness. Listening to Stones connects with the profound personal  messages that nature has for all of us.   The use of protective medicines, such as sage and tobacco, help create a  sacred space in which to deepen that connection through mindfulness in nature.
